　　01.根据举例猜测词义

　　一种方法是通过举例猜测词义，恰当的例子能够提供猜测生词的重要线索。例如：

　　在这个句子中，"wars"和"great scientific discoveries"是生词"epochal"的实例。通过这两个词，我们可以猜出"epochal"的大致词义为"重要的"。

　　划线短语进一步阐述了"kinesics"，意为"对肢体语言进行研究的"。

　　05.根据定义式线索猜测词义

　　定义是作者为了更好地表达思想，在文章中对一些重要的概念、难懂的术语或词汇等作出的解释。这些解释提供的信息具有明确的针对性，利用它们进行猜测词义比较容易。例如：
